Welcome to the Midwest Nitro and Midwest Electric Series. This is the only independent race series in the Midwest racing in Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana going into it's 5th year. The Midwest Nitro Series has become bigger and better than the previous years averaging over 150 entries every round last year. With the huge numbers of racers attending Midwest Nitro Series it was time to split up the nitro and electric classes into scale. Meaning for the nitro series we will run only 1/8th scale and for the electric series we will run 10th scale. Both series will run from May to October in the 2013 season, one race each month at the most prestige tracks in the Midwest. And as a added bonus we asked each track to build a fresh layout for each event to match the vehicle scale. This means more fun and some truly great racing. I'm very excited about this season as it is the biggest racing season we have ever put together.

Points are earned at each round based on finishing position in your main. Points start at 200 and work down. The more points earned the better chance at taking home a plaque at the finals and bragging rites of being the best in the Midwest. I have a special prize for that honor in each class. 2 extra point can be earned for TQ. Plus 2 points for every event attended.
You have the first 5 events to earn as many points as possible. Only your best 3 will count toward your score plus the finals to determine the winners. No exceptions! If you attend all of the first 5 events and miss the finals, Sorry! Anyone can attend any event including the finals. Everyone will receive points even at the finals. So make sure you do your best. No one is excluded and everyone is eligible Good luck to everyone and remember to have fun when you race.
